BenQ Europe a winner at ISE 2020

“After creating amazing things for BenQ at ISE Europe in the past we faced a nice challenge for 2020: create some ‘fun’ imagery based on ‘skydiving’. For this we created a green screen studio in a skydiving tube, worked with the best skydivers in The Netherlands, fabricated a 3D Wingman puppet mapping, created and rendered crazy animations for numerous screens and an interactive projection tunnel with skydivers, balloons, a jet and 6 drones," explains Danny Rats, studiorats, Netherlands. "For all multiscreen installations we – as always – trusted and used Dataton WATCHOUT servers, this year with the brand new WATCHPAX 40."

On the BenQ stand, visitors could see WATCHOUT in action in several areas:

• 12-projector tunnel with imagery on walls and floor, and proximity sensors triggering different tasks with video, sound and DMX control of lighting
• 3-projector mapping at Wingman with DMX control of lighting
• 4 x portrait UHD looping video

The stand not only caught the eye of visitors but also won the ISE 2020 Best Stand Design Award in the category 200-399 sqm!
