Giant show for NZ awards night

Auckland-based production company Spyglass really pushed the boundaries for the 2021 NZ Hi-Tech Awards, attended by 1300 attendees from 400+ businesses. The occasion is a cornerstone of the New Zealand events calendar and, after a challenging year for everyone, an ambitious design was on the cards for the dream team of Spyglass, Swaytech and Loren Taylor Events Creative.

For the awards evening, Spyglass custom-made their largest screen so far, a massive U-shaped surface measuring 112m wide x 9m high, and offering over 1,000 sqm of screen real estate ready for a stellar WATCHOUT show! The screen is believed to be the largest installed in Auckland’s Spark Arena to date and with seamless content delivered by a WATCHOUT system and a bevy of Pansonic projectors, it proved just as impactful as the teams had envisaged.

As usual, the team provided a full service offering for the NZ tech-sector awards evening: vision, audio, lighting and content. The bar has been set high for the 2022 event in Wellington!
