Dataton previews new version of WATCHOUT at InfoComm

Dataton will preview features in the next major release of its WATCHOUT show composer software at InfoComm 2023. Visitors to booth 4121 can also get hands-on with Dataton’s latest media servers, the WATCHPAX 62 series.

All the shows on the Dataton booth will be powered by the upcoming release of WATCHOUT which includes a powerful new video and audio engine, HDR playback, color space management, new 3D mapping workflow and a remote-content collaboration platform.

Lars Sandlund said: “In WATCHOUT 7, content created offsite by the design studio can be uploaded and dropped straight into a show by the onsite crew, saving time and effort during production and making last-minute changes even easier. The platform also means content can be shared across multiple shows with all the team benefits that entails.”

At InfoComm, Dataton will also show their WATCHPAX 62 series of performance-optimized media servers.
