Warranty conditions

In brief: Dataton AB warrants hardware products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 730 days from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident or misuse, has been modified without the written permission of Dataton, or if any Dataton serial number has been removed or defaced. Replacement under warranty

Dataton hardware is covered by a two year product warranty. If your Dataton product needs repairing during this time, please follow the instructions below.

How to:
Email warranty@dataton.se with a complete description of the fault and when it occurs. State the serial number of the product. Dataton will assign you a repair ID number, RMA, for the faulty item and, where feasible, dispatch a replacement. Remember to quote the repair ID number when you pack the faulty item.

When applicable, please note that you must return the items within 72 hours of receiving the replacement. If the faulty item is not returned in time or does not concur with warranty requirements, you will be charged for the replacement product.

Nonwarranty repairs

If your Dataton product needs repairing and is no longer under warranty, you will be charged for any repair.
