DATATON APPOINTS PREMIUM PARTNER IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

Dataton AB, maker of the popular WATCHOUT multi-display production and playback system, has appointed Audio Visual Technique Ltd as the Premium Partner for key markets in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

The latest addition to Dataton’s strong network of Premium Partners, Audio Visual Technique was founded in 1980 and is headed up by Kenneth Cheung, a widely respected figure in the Asian AV industry. Based in Hong-Kong, AVT provides service and training in Singapore and Malaysia through its network of resellers.

Mr Kenneth Cheung, Director of Audio Visual Technique, says: "We welcome this new opportunity to market Dataton products in these fast developing markets for professional audio-visual control systems.

"Although smaller in size when compared to Greater China, Singapore and Malaysia have enormous potential for growth. The rapid rise in government and private enterprise expenditure in promotional events and tourism-related projects has offered the local AV companies more business opportunities."
