There are three basic components in the WATCHOUT system: production computer software, display computer software and license keys. You can use the WATCHOUT production software free of charge as a DEMO or to plan your show. However, when you connect your WATCHOUT production computer to display computers in order to run a real show, you will need to purchase one WATCHOUT license per computer. Each WATCHOUT license consists of a hardware key/dongle which plugs into the computer. Each computer in your show rig, including the production computer, must be fitted with a hardware key. To purchase WATCHOUT licenses, contact your local Dataton dealer or order on the WATCHOUT page. If you already have WATCHOUT version 1 or version 2 licenses, you can upgrade to version 3 via "WATCHOUT UPGRADE" on the WATCHOUT page.
Important: To use the WATCHOUT software, you must have QuickTime version 6.4 installed and not any newer! This 6.4 version is available from Apple here.
